Position Overview:
As a Devanner, you will be responsible for unloading and sorting products from shipping containers and trailers. This role is essential to ensure that goods are handled efficiently and accurately, and that they are prepared for the next steps in our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload goods and merchandise from shipping containers and trailers using manual and mechanical methods.
- Sort and organize products according to warehouse procedures and inventory needs.
- Inspect goods for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and operational protocols.
- Assist with the stocking and restocking of inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, with physical stamina and strength.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures and protocols.
